


Rhinegold Education, comprising the music and drama study guides and related educational books previously owned by Rhinegold Publishing, has been acquired by London-based music publisher Music Sales L
The acquisition includes the rights to develop, publish and sell current and future books under the ‘Rhinegold Education’ brand. Music Sales is the existing sales, marketing and distribution arm of these titles, and so the transfer of the business will be of minimal disruption to customers. Current Rhinegold staff members Katharine Allenby and Harriet Power will join Music Sales with immediate effect thereby enabling a smooth transition.
Music Sales has acquired the list with the intention of building upon Rhinegold Education’s pre-eminent position in the music education market.

Rhinegold Publishing retains all of its educational magazines ‘Music Teacher’, ‘Classical Music’ and ‘Teaching Drama’ and its directories such as ‘British Music Education Yearbook’.
