Tewkesbury Food And Drink Festival 2011 - Saturday 30th April - Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May - The Vineyards, Tewkesbury.

In its 7th year the Tewkesbury Food and Drink Festival promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Taking over the Vineyards by the Abbey, the Festival will provide a bounty of foodie activity over the Bank Holiday Weekend.

Festival highlights include:

• CHEF DEMO THEATRE - welcome celeb chefs including Simon Rimmer, Brian Turner, Matthew Fort and Thomasina Miers
• KIDS FOOD FEST - a range of family activities including Custard paddling, gingerbread village and vegetable character making
• THE TEWKESBURY TASTE TENT - different cuisines to sample each day including the Chocolate Festival, Chilli Lovers Fair and English Wine Fair.
• LIVE MUSIC On the Festival Stage - including Thea Gilmore, Jon Allen Band, Simon Lynge and Ragtime Jug Orchestra
• THE FESTIVAL FOOD HALL - 80+ local producers selling their wares
• THE ‘FESTAURANT' VILLAGE - pop up regional restaurants with al fresco dining
• THE ALE AND CIDER BAR - showcasing local brews
• THE CRAFT FAIR - a host of regional crafts and gifts.
