GARDENERS' QUESTION TIME - THE LIVE TOUR

Long established British institution takes the show on the road

Arguably one of Britain's most famous and endearing British institutions, BBC Radio 4's Gardeners' Question Time embarks on an inaugural tour all over the UK this autumn. For the first time, resident chair Eric Robson will tour with his panel of expert gardeners comprising of Chris Beardshaw, Matt Biggs, Bob Flowerdew, Pippa Greenwood, Bunny Guinness, Anne Swithinbank, Christine Walkden and Matthew Wilson. Each night Eric will be joined by three members of the panel as they play to their largest ever live audience visiting theatres all around the UK, taking their unrivalled gardening expertise directly to their loyal followers.

The 28 date live tour which starts in Norfolk on the 20th October promises to deliver an evening to remember in every city in the splendour of your local theatre. The panel will offer their inimitable gardening expertise interspersed with the usual dose of quirky humour as well as live demonstrations about best gardening practice and advice on how to overcome both common and more unusual garden problems. Audiences will also be able to enjoy videos of life behind the scenes at Gardener's Question Time headquarters and will be treated to a sneak peek of the panellists' very own gardens.

The live setting for the long running team will also allow the well established panel the chance to share their most memorable experiences as some of the UK's most esteemed gardening experts and of course, recount their very recent anecdotes of life ‘on tour.' And, for those who have been ensnared by this cultural institution for years, months or even days, the live version of the show hosted in a large venue for the first time is a chance for the widest possible audience to finally put a face to the very familiar voices heard every Sunday lunchtime.

Imparting not only their passion for the cultivation of successful gardens and horticulturalists all over the UK, this is a unique opportunity for experts and amateurs alike to gather gardening expertise from their favourite gardeners first hand for one night only in a theatre very close to home.

Gardeners' Question Time - The Live Tour is a co-promotion between Phil McIntyre Entertainment and independent production company, Somethin' Else licensed by the BBC.
