Music Scroller, The musician Autocue is released

Written by a musician for musicians, Music Scroller is the memory stick for the musicians brain ( and you don’t need a USB socket on the back of your head ).

Music Scroller does exactly that, it scrolls music and lyrics up the computer screen, with or without synchronised backing tracks.

The first huge point about Music Scroller is that you do not buy song files to use with Music Scroller, it comes pre populated with 100 popular songs. Because Music Scroller uses simple text files for the display and standard mp3,wav or midi files for the backing tracks, the user creates everything that is needed for any given song, Midi backing files are available free from thousands of sites on the internet. You can of course buy very professional mp3 backing tracks if you prefer.

As Music Scroller uses standard RTF text files ( these can be created using many programs such as Microsoft Word or Wordpad ), Music Scroller can display Chords and Lyrics, guitar tabs or notation manuscript.

Here is a list of just some of the amazing features of Music Scroller:-

  • XP, Vista, Win 7  compatible
  • Foot switch control
  • Touch screen control
  • 240 user programmable quick song selection buttons
  • Song Chord Transpose in 1 semitone steps
  • Chord Fingering Library
  • Sequentially self loading play list
  • Background Music Facility
  • Unlimited user defined song databases
  • Over 100 built in rhythm's
  • Guitar tuning tones - Multiple scrolling methods - Step scrolling, smooth scrolling, page turn.

For the gigging musician, just select the playlist for the gig you are doing, then each song is loaded sequentially when the previous song ends, each song can be started using the footswitch.  This means the PC or laptop can be tucked away out of sight and a discrete monitor can be mounted in a foldback speaker cabinet, the audience don't even know you are using it.

For the budding musician or anyone that want to practice a song ( that's probably most of us ) a song can be started part way through, the scrolling and the backing track remain synchronized.

Ok so you have got your 100 songs that Music Scroller came populated with and you just cannot be bothered to create any RTF files or backing tracks for more songs, no problem, Muisc Scroller users can both upload and download totally free, songs from the Music Scroller website.

The cost of Music Scoller is just £49.99, but you can download the fully working software from the Music Scroller website ( http://musicscroller.co.uk/ ), and the free download will work for 150 songs, after which the purchase price will need to be paid to unlock the 150 song limit.

Let's face it no-ones memory is perfect, we all forget the chords and/or lyrics sometimes, Music Scroller gives you the edge and the confidence, and will vastly increase your repertoire in  no time.

Music Scroller really is all things to all men, if you are simply jamming alone in your bedroom, are a one man local pub player or  part of a 5 man rock band, Music Scroller takes you the rest of the way.
